Our Vessel Control Unit (VCU) is the brain of the electric system. All electronics are inside this box. It communicates with all components inside and outside the propulsion system, and depending on the data gathered, it will decide on the next move. This releases the end user from, for example, battery management, but it also allows for remote service.
Electronics can no longer be avoided these days, theyare everywhere. The disadvantage of electronics is that they can be a sensitivepart of a system. That is why we have put all electronics inside one box. Incase of failures the VCU can easily and quickly be swapped for a spare unit.This guarantees maximum reliability on the water.
